‘Rules’ favor those who create them

Regarding the letter about the economy, “Indeed, logic is totally missing”: I would like to thank Mr. Roger Sayer for such a well written letter. But for those who could not understand still the way our modern financial system works under the mantra of deregulation, I would suggest a simple experiment to expand your understanding.

Gather some friends or your family and set up a game of Monopoly, except throw the rule book away and play the game with one simple rule: When it’s your turn to roll the dice you make a rule, any rule that benefits you is all the better. see how long it takes until the game becomes unplayable for all but one or two people.
