Sen. Richard Durbin of Illinois is the second-ranking Democrat in the Senate leadership. He recently compared the interrogation techniques of the U.S. military at Gitmo to Nazis, the Soviet gulags and Pol Pot. Unless my memory fails me, the three regimes mentioned killed millions of innocent people and the U.S. military has not killed a single terrorist in Gitmo.
I haven’t seen a word about this on network news shows and as a matter of fact have not found an article in The Herald. It would appear that the left wing media is a little smarter than Durbin, they don’t want to publicize the rhetoric of the radical left. That’s the only way they can remain in office. Cable news and the Internet is spreading the news, folks. Coverups won’t work any more.
