Why is there a question about commercial service at Paine Field? History shows that Paine had commercial service in the past, was initially planned as a super airport, and was there long before the opponents built or bought their expensive homes. If you don’t like the smell of manure would you build a house next to a dairy farm? Same thing with noise and airports.
If the Riverside neighborhood used their arguments about noise and property value we’d have no freeway. It’s the NIMBY attitudes of the few that prevent progress that benefits the many.
