Once again (and almost daily!) we have been disappointed in The Herald. Truth be known, we only subscribe as we are on Camano Island and not much choice other than the over-priced Seattle Times!
On Friday, you chose to take up almost the entire front page with the number of words used by high school students in their commencement messages! We could find a dozen other items more “newsworthy” for the front page! I don’t think anyone even cares about this!
On top of it, I was very interested in an article in the Local section, about the brutal attack of a disabled man, which was to be continued on B5…it wasn’t! Instead there was a huge ad about acid reflux! Come on, what kind of “editing” is this! (Editor’s note: The article continued on page B8.)
Just had to comment this time, even though there are daily annoyances connected with this paper! Guess we will have to break our morning “paper” habit and move on to something else to start out our day. Sad!
