I so agree with Monday’s letter writer about vaccinations. (“‘Moderate’ reaction not worth the risk.”) When does it ever end? My son (now 37 years old) also had a minor reaction to a DPT shot, as a small child. B
ack then, you were expected to have about 11 pre-kindergarten shots, to enter school. It is my understanding now that it may be as many as twice that amount today, by the time a child enters school.
If you watch the TV commercials, you will continue to find more and more shots now available. To make these shots mandatory is an outrage! As the writer states, “a mild reaction?” Will we soon be vaccinating for acne, bad behavior, and weight issues? Enough, is quite enough!
