I am writing in response to all those who feel President Obama did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize when “the nominations were required to be in only two weeks after his taking office.”
Since when is being president of the United States a requirement for receiving the prize? The award was not given because of his presidency. It was given for his diplomacy, direction and hope for the future, which started long before he took the White House.
