Thank you for running the Associated Press story, “4MOM” regarding Braden Bishop, a Huskies baseball team member and what he is doing to honor his mother. His actions will educate the younger generation that it is not just the elderly that can have this devastating disease. What a brave young man who will dedicate his life to support the fight in for a cure for Alzheimer’s in honor of his mother. She must be very proud of him.
This disease affects the entire family of the person who has Alzheimer’s, and all the family can do is be there and support them through the long, difficult times knowing there is no cure for their family member.
