‘South Pacific’ will float your boat

As a student at Cascade High School, there’s a lot of things to be proud of. From our outstanding athletes, young leaders to our scholars, musicians, and artists. With a student population of 2,000, 30 different ethnic backgrounds, and 17 languages spoken on campus, Cascade is a school of incredible diversity and talent.

But what I’ve grown to be most proud of (among many of the things I find to be incredible about my school) in the past three years, is our musical productions. Having been a part of six productions, including “Fiddler On The Roof” and “Much Ado About Nothing,” I’ve seen a show rise from the ground. And “South Pacific” has been no different. From auditions to opening night, I’ve seen every person involved grow and rise to the challenge. So as a student and aspiring actor, I’d like to thank not only Cascade High School, but the Everett School District and the community as a whole for supporting the arts in high schools around the area.

The opportunities given to me have taught me so many lessons, challenged me as a person, and let me thrive. Thank you!

South Pacific will be showing at 7 p.m. this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Cascade High School, 801 East Casino Road.

Tickets are $14 for raised seats, $12 with ASB card for students and seniors, $10 for floor seats, $8 with ASB card for students and seniors!
