I would like to publicly commend the Boy Scouts for remaining true to their convictions in spite of monetary pressure from the United Way. It is difficult to not capitulate or compromise in this society when you face financial or political clout like the United Way carries. This is difficult for any individual or group but particularly for a non-profit organization. This difficulty is more pronounced now since the term “minority” has been redefined in our politically correct society to include homosexuality.
Remain true to your convictions, Boy Scouts of America. Many individuals will donate directly to you now and circumvent United Way altogether.
