On behalf of the University of Washington Athletic Department, we would like to acknowledge the thousands of Husky fans that have supported Curtis Williams by contributing to the Curtis Williams Fund.
Though Curtis’ medical expenses will be covered by the University of Washington and the NCAA, the Curtis Williams Fund was established to assist Curtis and his family with expenses beyond those covered by insurance.
In less than four hours, Husky Football fans attending a recent game donated over $50,000 to this Fund. From the child that gave his allowance, to the $1000 checks written, to the student-athletes that volunteered their time, the generosity of the Husky community was truly overwhelming.
There can be no doubt that our fans care deeply about Curtis, his family, and the University of Washington Football program.
