I am always amazed that the spate of nasty letters the Tulalips get no matter what they do for Marysville and the surrounding area. I applaud them for taking the I-5 on/off-ramp at 88th Street/Quil Ceda Boulevard under their monetary wing. This overpass has been a nightmare for a long time, and the recent Department of Transportation “fix” of making the center lane left-turn-only at one hour and straight ahead the next hour has made it even worse — much like its “fix” of the 172nd Street overpass at Smokey Point. Thanks from one grateful driver. Keep up the good deeds, Tulalips!
