It was very refreshing to read the article in The Herald about two young men who found a wallet in a couch with $650 in it. (Aug. 4, “Boys find jackpot in couch.”) The wallet had been in the couch for six or seven years.
It would have been so easy for those 15- and 16-year-olds to take the money out and throw the wallet in the garbage. But they gave the wallet to their mother and she was able to find the owner. There ought to be more people the world like these young men.
