To hear our state lawmakers talk, they don’t know where the next dollar will come from. So much so that they are proposing a “temporary” sales tax increase. Now I see the State Patrol is going to spend $41 million (!) on new radios for the patrol cars. No doubt they are needed, but where is this money coming from? By the way, does anyone really believe a sales tax increase will be temporary?
