I am writing this letter regarding the Nov. 30 article written by reporter Kaitlin Manry, concerning the Snohomish PUD crew working 40-hour shifts. I wanted to thank her for the informative article.
She truly showed how hard these dedicated men and woman work!
I would like to thank the PUD employees for all of their hard work during this recent storm! I am sure that all of the Snohomish PUD customers are happy to know that these wonderful men and women are out there, helping to restore their power as quickly and safely as possible. It is dangerous and hard work to be out in the elements for long hours at a time, but we always know that they will be there for us, not only during the storms, but on a daily basis.
Mother Nature is harsh, and it is frustrating when the power is out for long periods of time, but these men and women leave their homes and families to go out into the storms to make sure that the PUD customers get their power back on. I know first hand, as I am a Snohomish PUD employee’s wife, and am so proud of all of these men and women who risk their own safety to make sure there is warmth and light for all.
Thank you for all of your tireless work, and please know that you are appreciated! Wishing you all a safe and restful end to this storm!
