Bick Hang showed an eager group how easy it is to prepare Vietnamese Salad Roll at the monthly ethnic cooking class at the Grandview Community Center in Everett on Nov. 22. Bick, who came to the U.S. from Vietnam as a child, demonstrated this healthy snack to a group of about 15 adults and children. Everyone had a chance to make their own salad roll from the fresh ingredients and ask questions about Vietnamese culture. This event is co-sponsored by the Interfaith Association of Snohomish County and the Everett Housing Authority.
A huge thank you to Bick Hang! The next class will be on Jan. 24 – Faye Dunlap will be cooking sweet potato pie!
