Thanks for South County Fire and Rescue’s help

As a customer of The Herald, I’d like to share with you and your readers what the wonderful people at the South Snohomish County Fire and Response team, Miss Kristen Thorstenson and Mr. Kim, community resources specialists.

Not only are they fire and rescue, they are truly life savers.

We needed help getting my blind and unable-to-walk, 88-year-old, 6-foot-3, 200-pound husband to the doctor’s office in Edmonds. They pitched in an did the job. Not only did they take him to the doctor’s office, they waited and brought him home.

Miss Kristen had the firefighters at brier come and carry him down a flight of stairs to her van so she could take him. The the wonderful firefighters at Brier came back and carried him into our home.

I can’t say enough good about them and I thought The Herald and its readers would like to know that angels are not only in heaven but here on earth as well.
