It is a season of giving to some. On behalf of the Save Our Seniors of Lynnwood, we would like to take this opportunity to give also. We want to give those who supported our fight to save our homes our “thank you” and prayers that they receive bountiful rewards for themselves and their families for the good thing they have done.
And this includes Mr. Mike Echelbarger for listening to his heart and having done the right thing. Here they are: The city of Lynnwood for their commitment to Senior Citizens of the city of Lynnwood; HASCO, Housing Authority of Snohomish County, Mr. Bob Davis, director, who answered the phone call that Tuesday morning and started his commitment and leadership to the acquisition of Squires and Kingsbury East. SOS Board Members for the strong leadership, Democrats Precinct 21 with Brian Sullivan, who demonstrated full support with his strong lead, and others followed. Snohomish County Council, the council clerk and receptionist; Office of the Executive, special thanks to Nancy and Ms. Dawson and of course Mr. Reardon. Special thanks to Mr. Koster and Mr. Nelson of the County Council for taking the lead towards bipartisan support on the issue of mobile homes and affordable housing in Snohomish County. Most important are the residents of Kingsbury West (whose mobile homes are very iffy) for supporting SOS since 2001, when all this really started; they were there for us. Thank you for all the prayers, of the mobile home owners, their children and families. And also many thanks to our local media, The Enterprise, The Herald and Channel 13 for bringing the issue first-hand. Thank you very much.
