I would like to commend Sen. Maria Cantwell in supporting access for Western travelers to gain more nonstop flights to Washington D.C.’s Reagan National Airport. Having ready access to airports reduces ground transportation times, congestion and pollution.
I would ask the senator to also prov
ide leadership in supporting commercial air service access to Paine Field. As a former promoter of economic development, she knows the importance of timely access to commercial air in building a sound economic base and job growth.
