Thanks to those working to help

Thank you for the article and update and follow up on this tragic case of Chantel Craig. (“Girl’s death prompts hard look at state’s child welfare.”) This should never have happened in this day and age. I would like to publicly thank the team that worked hard on putting together suggested procedures and recommendations to those involved in child neglect cases.

I was afraid this would be put on the back burner and nothing further was being done except in the federal court system and was so relieved when I read the article regarding what this team had done in trying to see that no other child has to endure what these small babies had to endure.

I am a Tulalip Tribal elder and my teachings remind me that I need to thank those that care. So thanks to the paper for the article and the team that worked on this.
