The Citizens Supporting the Levy for Everett Public Schools wants to express our appreciation to voters in the Everett School District for once again reaffirming their support for our community’s children and schools.
The overwhelming approval of the district’s operating levy maintains our current programs for kids the next four years by providing one fifth of the cost for daily operations of schools. Thanks to our voters, Everett schools will have textbooks, teaching materials, competitive salaries for teachers and other support they need to continue to improve student achievement.
The approval of the bond measure will relieve overcrowding in Mill Creek area elementary schools and completely renovate six of our elementary schools that need it the most.
Thank you, voters, for caring about each of the 18,000 students served by our schools and doing your part to help each of them succeed. We truly appreciate it.
