I heard on a recent news program that April is Military Family Appreciation month. We all know it is the person who is actually wearing the uniform that runs into danger without a blink of an eye. However, their families and loved ones are serving too as they are forever in the hearts of our military men and women, no matter where they are, where they are going, or what they are doing.
The families keep things stable on the home-front so that when our men and women return, they know they have a safe haven to go to. The families have kept the home fires burning. It is the family members at home who do their best to keep normalcy in the lives of the young children who may not understand why one or both of their parents have to be away from them. So, I want to send out a big, big, big thank you too our military families out there who are working just as hard at home as our men and women are out in the field. God Bless our military, their families, and America!
