I didn’t think the Nov. 12 article in The Herald titled “Split Decision in Bush, Gore Ballot Review” was newsworthy enough to be printed, much less given a prominent place on the front page. The public has had to endure enough of that topic, and it’s been done to death.
Just when the country is finally pulling together, and behind our president in this difficult time of war and tragedy, we have to re-visit the question of who really won the election? Why stir all that up again now? It’s O-V-E-R, and doesn’t need to be re-addressed. Surely there are more newsworthy topics to print?
