Every Democrat wants to point fingers at congressional Republicans for doing nothing over the years. I wonder if that could be a result of Harry Reid holding up over 400 bills that passed the Republican house. Most were not even brought up for a vote on the floor and most had the clause that no Republican amendments would be considered. This is the senate that has also failed to approve a budget for six years. This is the senate that used the nuclear option to pass Obamacare on Christmas Eve without one single Republican vote and against the will of the American public. We all know the result of that.
Now after Republicans have gained control of the Senate and retained the House we hear innuendo from the president and members of his party wanting across the aisle bipartisanship and compromise going into the new year.
The result of this election was to stop the lawlessness of Obama and his total disregard of the Constitution. And yes, it was to get rid of Harry Reid and the half of Congress that did nothing.
