It must be very depressing as well as frustrating to be endowed with a one-track mind. Especially if you are counted on to furnish the local paper with a weekly article.
Poor Tom Burke, every other week submits a column with the same old tired theme: Democrat good, Republican terrible.
It would be my recommendation that Burke take some time off, go fishing or possibly go to the beach and dig a clam. It might even be a good idea for him to read a book, say a good who-done-it or one on birds of the Northwest. It might just enable him to come up with a fresh idea to write about.
