Trespassers violate our rights, privileges

Our Constitution’s 14th amendment guarantees us equal protection under the law.

Illegal aliens are being given welfare, health and education benefits at our cost. That takes the rights and privileges of lawful citizenship from legal, law-abiding citizens and gives them away to trespassers. Failure to enforce immigration laws violates our 14th amendment rights. Those who encourage or hire illegals are co-conspirators who must be vigorously prosecuted too.

Americans are not completely selfish and arrogantly insensitive. We have legal immigration and those who have come here through that process are cheated right along with the rest of us by those who climb the fences, wade the Rio Grande, or come any other way than according to law.

Since President Bush went to Mexico shortly after the 2000 election, the Mexican government began publishing pamphlets to instruct their people how to invade America and evade our border enforcement. Besides contraband and drugs, they bring their pregnant wives and girlfriends who give birth in our hospitals free of charge. Like idiots we endow their trespassing children with citizenship, giving the parents the right to stay here. Their numbers have grown so large that they get away with demanding that we accept their traditions and language. They insist on turning America into what they claim to be escaping. Their spray-can graffiti got so bad in California that barbed wire had to be put around freeway signs to keep them legible and readable. It’s coming here too.

Rule of law is what our civilization depends on. We’re losing it.
