After all the bickering over gun control, or as the progressives call it, gun violence, I hearken back to one of our founding fathers, President Thomas Jefferson who stated: “The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” With the erosion of our precious rights under the Constitution his comments are most appropriate.
