Many are rightly bewildered at some of the responses we’re hearing from across the country to Russian President Putin’s indefensible invasion of Ukraine, though both as expected. A “savvy genius”?
As we all face paying more at the gas pump because of this, rather than complaining, maybe we could look at it as our small price for supporting the citizens of Ukraine in their fight against tyranny? Gas is cheaper than blood after all. Either we believe in freedom or we don’t.
To think it can’t happen here, in the land of the free, is both naïve and foolhardy considering what could have been on Jan. 6, 2021, if Vice President Pence had just gone along with the plan to “overturn” the election. The similarities should be alarming.
