I must agree with the family of Molly Conley, this was a miscarriage of justice. Perhaps someone can explain to me what difference it makes to the victim and her family and friends, that since you cannot prove that Molly was the intended victim, it isn’t murder. Logic tells me that firing a gun into a group of people will quite possibly leave someone dead. People must be held responsible for what they do, not for what they didn’t intend to do.
It is also maddening that the prosecutors are “comfortable” with this decision. We apparently need a prosecutor who will raise the “comfort” level of his or her office. Right now it is unacceptably low.
