Vote for Everett City Council districts and 5-2 option

I’m writing to recommend and support the election of some Everett City Council members from districts. It is a much fairer and equitable way for all residents to have a voice in citywide political thought and participation.

I support having five districts and two city-wide seats. To make it happen voters need to first approve Proposition 1 to amend the city charter. The vote yes on Proposition 2A, five districts and two city-wide.

This will provide a means for increasing diversity on the council and stimulate more involvement from all of our citizens.
