Voters left with poor options for president

The recent televised debate between former President Trump and President Biden, was more than a stark contrast as it was a sad commentary on our choices of leadership.

That President Biden after a week or so of rest after his worldwide appearances was so poor, raises very real questions as to his ability to complete another full term of four years in office. It then becomes of real concern as to who would assume the duties of the office. Vice President Kamala Harris has not shown that she has the ability to advance our nation’s desires to the rest of our neighbors and allies.

Best example is the southern border migration issue as well as her speeches that devolve into incomprehensible “word salads.”

This situation has created a very real conundrum for us voters. Those not wanting another four years of Trump, and not really happy with the far left agenda are put in the void where a non vote results in a vote for Trump as does a vote for very sparse third party candidates. Is it too hard to have another vice president candidate on the ticket that would be more appealing to the voters? There are some very good prospects in the Democratic Party that could result in more confidence not only in the Democratic Party, but in our choices for our political system.

As a married couple for over 43 years and each registered to a different party, in this we are in complete accord.

May the God(s) that you pray to, hear and grant us deliverance.
