In regard to the national debt, why are we not going after the people who caused this debt? Why should the American people have to pay it? It’s like telling the real culprits, “It’s OK, it’s free money to you.”
The CEOs of Wall Street, the banks, the auto industry and the insurance groups have all been bailed out. Why aren’t they having to pay us back? Especially since they are all making big bonuses and investing in futures, knowing they are forcing gas prices so high the average American can hardly afford to even commute to work.
We need to take the bonuses, etc., from those who put us so far in debt. Let them have to live like middle class America. I can remember when they had price freezes on milk and rent. Why can’t they put a price freeze on gasoline and medication?
