Wow, what a team that GOP has going for them! Turns out Vice President Dick Cheney wants everyone to remember that he has a lesbian daughter and he supports each state’s right to decide the issue of gay marriage on its own. John Ashcroft wants everyone to know that he does not think assisted suicide should be left up to the voters. And when George W. Bush was governor of Texas and running for the nomination of the GOP, he claimed that he supported the voters’ right to decide on the medical marijuana laws. And I think they are all against stem cell research. Meanwhile, the war rages on.
