We must topple Saddam’s regime

I have read many letters of dissention in this publication on the subject of preemptive strikes against Iraq. Saddam Hussein is the worst this world has to offer – he’s a cold-blooded killer. A maniac who has proven his desire to seek weapons of mass destruction and has used chemical weapons against defenseless civilians in his own country including women, children and babies. He is suspected of ties to terrorist organizations and is the sworn enemy of Americans everywhere.

Nuclear capability in the hands of someone as ruthless as Saddam Hussein is a threat to us all. Weapons of mass destruction supplied by him to sworn enemies of the United States could inflict casualties upon our people of horrific proportions. We cannot let this happen. The day Saddam’s regime is toppled, the world will become a much safer place for us all.
