Dave Anderson has served the 10th Legislative District for the past four years with distinction and honor. His challenger, Barry Sehlin, served in the past and retired two years ago. When they served at the same time, Dave and Barry worked well together and represented different points of view with mutual respect.
But we cannot afford to lose Dave Anderson now; he is a needed voice in the Legislature. His science background lends credibility to his hard work in salmon recovery and environmental protection. Dave is also a businessman who knows how to balance the needs and priorities that affect all of us.
I have known Dave for many years and have witnessed first-hand his dedication and work ethic. He volunteers immense amounts of time doing hands-on work to restore salmon runs, teach children about science and nature and meet with anyone who wants to talk with him.
