We’re all entitled to an explanation

I fail to understand why the Snohomish County Council is proposing to withdraw sales tax funds from the Museum of Flight Paine Field project, and give such funds to the Edmonds Art Museum.

The Museum of Flight project will bring hundreds of tourists and thousands of dollars to the Everett-Seattle area, while the Edmonds Art Museum’s attraction to tourists is practically nil in comparison.

Isn’t the public entitled to a more elaborate explanation of the transfer of funds, and leave out the politics of the situation?
