Mining the Sky Valley. Allowing a sewer treatment plant to be built on seismic fault lines. Sitting on millions of dollars in mitigation money that was supposed to be used to build parks and roads near new development. Spending more on mass transit than asphalt for cars.
And who could forget Ascent 21, which proposed to raise our taxes across the board to pay for services like water, sewer, roads and parks – things that are supposed to be funded with existing tax dollars. That was our county under the Democrat leadership of Dave Somers.
Do you want to return to that? There is a reason Somers lost his job on the Snohomish County Council four years ago. With Jeff Sax, we’re finally back on track. Why change now?
