Work at cemeteries thanks to Emblem Club, Scouts

Regarding the June 13 letter, “Thank you for work to beautify cemeteries”:

Everett Emblem Club No. 523, with the help of the Boy Scouts, place the small flags that grace our veterans’ graves at Evergreen and Cypress Lawn cemeteries on Memorial Day.

Many of the organizations around the city donated the flags to them and they keep care of them and place them each year.
