The Boeing IRC employees wanted to send out a big “thank you” to the Evergreen Way Fred Meyer employees. In three hours on Oct. 5, the Boeing IRC employees raised $1,461 to help the Saint Joseph’s Baby Corner after a robbery left them with no diapers.
We phoned store manager Mark Narron to ask him if there was anything they could do to help with our large purchase of diapers. It took him only a short time to return our call and say they were able to give a 10 percent discount on Fred Meyer brand diapers. We purchased all they had (106) packages. With their help, we loaded them in the truck and delivered them to the Baby Corner. Again, thank you all so much.
