My name is Mark Bond. I work for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department. However I began my law enforcement career as a Mill Creek Police officer. My wife and I feel fortunate to live in Mill Creek and raise our kids here. The city staff and city council face many challenges as they try to provide high levels of service and stay within an ever-shrinking budget.
In the upcoming election the voters will get to choose who will represent them as city council members. I have known one candidate for nearly 10 years, Chuck Wright. Chuck is a kind person who truly cares about others and the community. More than simply caring, Chuck takes his ideas to the next level, he acts on them. Often times we allow kind thoughts to slip past as nothing more than good intentions. Not Chuck. When tragedy struck New York City, Chuck volunteered to go help.
In the past Chuck has served the city by being on the planning commission and volunteering for the police advisory board. He gave of his time because he wanted to make a difference for all of us. During my recovery from a serious motorcycle accident, Chuck went out of his way to take care of my family and me. Chuck is a man of integrity with a heart to help those in need. As a citizen of Mill Creek I support Chuck Wright. Chuck is a hard working, creative problem solver who really cares about the direction of the city. Remember to vote and please consider voting for Chuck Wright.
