I am writing in response to a letter by Scott Beane (“For many, Tuesday’s results are scary,” Nov. 7),who seems to be very dismayed at the re-election of President Bush. Mr. Beane states that civil rights will now be “ripped away from millions of people.” He also states that “God is fiction” and that our president makes decisions based on that.
It appears to me that all of his concerns are fiction. Now that’s scary!
