Manager

Rob Mummau

Mummau, a 40-year-old resident of Stephens City, Virginia, begins his first season as Everett’s manager. Last season he managed Pulaski of the rookie Appalachian League to a 32-36 record and a third-place finish in its division. He’s worked as a scout in the Mariners organization since 2001, signing the likes of current Mariners Dustin Ackley and Kyle Seager.

Pitching coach

Rich Dorman

Dorman, a 33-year-old from Medford, Ore., begins his second stint in Everett, having also served as AquaSox pitching coach in 2009-10. He spent last season as the pitching coach at Clinton of the mid single-A Midwest League. He pitched nine years in the minors with three different organizations.

Hitting coach

Scott Steinmann

Steinmann, a 38-year-old resident of Chandler, Ariz., returns to coaching after managing the AquaSox to a 37-39 record last season. This is his 17th season in the Mariners organization as a player, coach and manager. He was a late replacement for Andy Bottin, who was originally slated to be Everett’s hitting coach.

Athletic trainer

Spyder Webb

Webb, a 58-year-old from Florence, S.C., is now in his 34th season as trainer for Seattle’s Northwest League affiliate. He retired from his longtime position as head trainer at Francis Marion University in Florence at the end of the school year.

Jean Acevedo (25)
