25 former AquaSox open season on MLB rosters

A total of 25 former Everett AquaSox players were among those on Major League Baseball rosters for Thursday’s opening day, according to an AquaSox press release.

Relief pitcher Troy Taylor, who pitched in eight games for the AquaSox in 2023 and 11 in 2024, is the most recent former Frog in The Show to begin this season. Taylor starts 2025 on the Mariners’ 15-day injury list as he recovers from a lat injury.

Bryce Miller, who started 15 games for Everett in 2022, is Seattle’s projected starter for Saturday’s game at T-Mobile Park against the A’s (6:40 p.m., ROOT).

The AquaSox begin their season at Spokane at 6:35 p.m. on April 4 (KXA Radio 1520 AM / 101.1 FM). Everett’s home opener is 7:05 p.m. April 8 at Funko Field against Hillsboro.

The player still on an MLB roster who has been away from Everett the longest is former Washington Husky and current Baltimore Oriole Andrew Kittredge, who pitched one game for the AquaSox in 2011.
