Career: After helping lead Everett High to back-to-back state golf title, Storkson became a nationally-acclaimed bowler. He joined the PBA Tour at age 27 and bowled in 25 events, cashing in on 12. Storkson really came into his own on the PBA Senior Tour, where he won the 1999 Senior Masters title and finished second the following year, at 56 years old. Last fall, at the age of 61, he bowled his 18th 300 game.
Postscript: Now 62 years old and living Mukilteo, Storkson is in his 40th year as owner of Evergreen Lanes. He still bowls part-time on the senior tour but has cut back on his competitive schedule so he can spend more time with his six grandchildren.
