Some Husky sports news not related to the upcoming football game.
The women’s basketball team announced a signing class of three players today, including Jackons High’s Kristi Kingma. Also signed were forward Liz Lay of Oklahoma City, Okla. and forward Mollie Williams of Cerritos, Calif.
And for those wondering when the Huskies will ever return home from their road trip, you can come see them play at 2 p.m. this Friday against Idaho.
Speaking of basketball, Snohomish’s Jon Brockman was named the Pac-10 player of the week after averaging 23 points and 11.7 rebounds in three Washington wins.
The men’s soccer team earned an NCAA tournament berth, and will host Portland on Friday evening at 6 p.m.
