More positive news with regards to Everett star Nikita Scherbak:

Scherbak suffered a potentially scary injury when he had to be stretchered off the ice Saturday in Kent. However, all the news since then has allayed the fears of a serious injury, and now Scherbak has reinforced that notion himself.
I’m sure this is a big relief for both Scherbak and the Silvertips. It remains to be seen just when Scherbak will be able to return — I anticipate him missing at least some games. But it would appear there’s a good chance Scherbak will be back sooner rather than later.
