SPOKANE – Ray Allen scored 24 points and rookie Luke Ridnour keyed a fourth-quarter comeback as the Seattle SuperSonics beat the Portland Trail Blazers 101-95 in an exhibition game Saturday night.
Zach Randolph came off the bench to lead Portland with 21 points. Ruben Patterson and Rasheed Wallace, who fouled out, each had 14 points for the Trail Blazers.
Rashard Lewis added 17 for Seattle.
Ridnour, making his debut after undergoing surgery in August for a pulled abdominal muscle, scored six points in 13 minutes of play, including a layup that tied it at 84 with about 5:30 remaining.
Seattle pulled away down the stretch on 3-pointers by Vladimir Radmanovic and Richie Frahm. Radmanovic finished with 12 points, and made four of his eight 3-point attempts.
Frahm, a rookie who played at nearby Gonzaga, scored 11 points for Seattle.
Portland, which trailed for most of the first half, took a 51-50 halftime lead on a layup and a pair of free throws by Randolph. The Blazers held a 74-70 lead after three quarters.
Lewis, Reggie Evans and Calvin Booth each had six rebounds for Seattle.
Dale Davis had 12 rebounds to lead Portland, and 10 points. Damon Stoudamire added 13 points.
