AquaSox can’t hold late lead, lose to Indians

Everett’s bullpen allows eight runs total in the seventh and eighth innings in a 10-6 loss to Spokane.

EVERETT — The Spokane Indians scored four runs in the seventh and four more in the eighth to rally from a four-run deficit and beat the Everett AquaSox 10-6 on Friday night at Funko Field.

Adael Amador hit a three-run home run and Braxton Fulford added a solo shot in the seventh as the Indians took a 6-5 lead.

Tyler Locklear hit his ninth homer of the season in the bottom of the inning the pulled the AquaSox back square at 6-6.

But Amador hit a go-ahead RBI double in the top of the eighth and the floodgates opened up from there as Spokane (19-15) added three more to take a 10-6 lead and held on for the win.

Locklear finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and Ben Ramirez added a solo home run for Everett (17-19).
