VANCOUVER, B.C. — Hogan Windish hit a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to give Everett the lead and the AquaSox held on for a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Friday afternoon to snap a four-game losing streak.
Cade Doughty hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first as the Canadians jumped out to an early lead.
The AquaSox got a run back in the top of the third on an RBI double by Cole Young.
Six Everett (49-45, 15-13 second half) pitchers combined to allow just the two runs on seven hits. Logan Rinehart finished the game off with a scoreless inning in the ninth for his ninth save of the season.
Doughty finished the game 2-for-4 and Wehler went 2-for-3 for Vancouver (58-35, 20-8).
