PASCO — The Everett AquaSox rallied to pull within a run in ninth inning, but ultimatelyt fell to the Tri-City Dust Devils 6-5 on Friday at Gesa Stadium.
Luis Joseph had two doubles and Trent Tingelstad drove in two runs to lead the AquaSox’s offense.
With the loss, Everett (17-18) missed a chance to pick up a game in the standing on the Spokane Indians, who lost the Vancouver Canadians 7-2 on Friday. The AquaSox are three games back of first place in the Northwest League North Division standings with three games remaining in the first half of the season, all against the Indians. The first-half champion receives an automatic bid to the Northwest League playoffs.
