EUGENE, Ore. — The AquaSox rebounded from two straight losses against Eugene with a X-X victory Thursday night.
The win puts first-place Everett two games in front Eugene in the High-A West standings.
Dariel Gomez and Jake Anchia each drove in two runs for the AquaSox, who received hits from eight different batters. Gomez finished 2-for-4 with a double and a triple.
Adam Hill (1-0) picked up his first win in an Everett uniform after being sent down from Double-A Arkansas, tossing 6.2 innings while allowing four runs on six hits, including three home runs. Hill fanned nine batters and didn’t allow a walk.
Eugene’s Jake Dahlberg (1-3) took the loss. He allowed six runs, including two unearned runs, on eight hits, striking out six.
Sean Roby went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI for the Emeralds.
